Stories of families being taken advantage of by Scammers, Con-Artists, Liars, and Storm Chasers are constantly in the local television news for some Rip-off service they promised to offer and never delivered on. And sure, sometimes they get arrested or sued, but most times, you can't find them to take them to court, and even if you can, the time and the energy, and the cost involved to do so, takes you away from everything else you'd rather be doing. We've even read some stories about uninsured contractors getting hurt while working on a client's home, only for that same contractor to then turn around and sue the client for the medical bills related to their allegedly "injury." Just ask the agent who provides your Homeowners Insurance policy. It's a NIGHTMARE!
