Virtual Estimate System (VES)

Regardless of whether you have a small home repair project, or a major renovation, we begin ALL projects the same way... with Customer Supplied Photos. Starting in 2016, we found we were able to serve more clients, at a higher level, and give your project the attention it deserves, when we implimented our Virtual Estimate System.

Just grab your smartphone, take a few wide-angle photos of the space, project or problem, jot down a basic measurement or two, and send it our way through our website. From there, our office team will review everything and provide you with a free ballpark estimate — no on-site visit required to get the conversation started. If this is an exterior project, please include a wide shot, Corner to Corner and Grass to Sky of each side of your home that is affected.

Target Renovation Budget

If your project is a Kitchen Renovation, Master Suite Bathroom Makeover, Finished basement man-cave or game room, Screened in porch or deck addition, or an open concept floorplan change, its important to decide on your Target Renovation Budget — just like they do on HGTV. What is the total amount you're looking to invest. This isn't about nickel-and-diming every material choice. It's about giving our team the information we need to make smart, experience-backed recommendations that keep your project on track. It also allows us to give you an honest reality check early on, saving you time and frustration down the road. Watch this video to discover the secret to a stress free design process.

On-Site Consultation & Proposal Meeting

Once we have a virtual estimate and a TRB (if applicable), we can then schedule an on-site visit where one of our experienced team members will take detailed measurements, discuss design preferences, and gather everything needed to build your formal proposal. We typically charge a proposal fee ranging from $185 to $2,500 depending on scope — which is credited toward your project if you move forward within 30 days. In some cases, for repairs, we'll offer a Diagnostic fee, which is not credible.

Proposals are typically delivered within 14–21 business days, and on-site visits are usually scheduled 10–15 business days out during peak season. Once you sign and return your proposal with a ⅓ deposit, we'll order materials and get you on the schedule.

A Note on Pricing: COPE is not the cheapest contractor, but we are one of the most reputable and we’ll get it done right the first time around.
